Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was full of fun.  We first went to our clubhouse to see Santa.  He read to us "The Night Before Christmas"!  Afterward, we went into a private room to get pictures and presents.  Each of the kids received an early gift from Santa.

After visiting with Santa, off we went to a local Assisted Living Home to make Candy Cane Reindeer.  I wanted to do something special for these folks.  Have you ever noticed that it is the elderly that ALWAYS get forgotten during the holidays?  As a tribute to my Grandmother, Bobby, I wanted to do something special for those that once lead our great country and show appreciation and love.  I'm lucky to have such a wonderful family that wanted to join in the festivities.  My husband, children, mom, mother in law, and father in law all came.

(Sorry about the quality of the pictures.  The quality of a phone picture is NOTHING to my camera.)

At Chambrel

Candy Canes, Pipe-cleaners, puff balls, gem stickers and eyes (with glue) helped create some amazing reindeer!  I've learned that Elmer's Glue doesn't dry fast enough, so from now on I'll use stickers!

The lady you see in pink was so adorable.  She kept singing and the others would join in.
Lilah is helping with the pipe-cleaner antlers.

Wyatt found the fish-ies and loved watching them swim.

We hope you had a wonderful and safe Holiday!  With love, The Baileys
